Lee Idol Registration 2014:
Prospective performers must check in prior to the event at the Spectrum Playhouse. Performers will have an opportunity to meet with the sound technician to go over song selection and other needs and do a sound check. Registration will run from 5:00 to 6:30PM and performers are encouraged to come as early as possible to allow individual time for everyone. Must be age 14 or older. Performers should come prepared with two or three song choices. A karaoke backing track or acoustic accompaniment.may be used. Performances begin at 7:00PM.
How to Compete on Friday, Sept. 19
Each performer will have an opportunity to perform two songs before a panel of three judges and live audience. The performers with the highest judges scores at the end of this round will be advanced to Round Two which takes place on Saturday Night. In order to be considered for the Final Competition, performers must perform in Round One.
How to Compete on Saturday, Sept. 20
The finalists chosen from Friday night’s performances will be announced this evening. Each finalist will perform two songs for judges and live audience. At intermission, 3 final performers will be chosen and invited back on stage to perform another song. After these 3 final performances, the audience will vote to crown the new Lee Idol Champion!
